Your in-game sensitivity number means nothing alone. Multiply it by your DPI to get your true aim speed — then check your cm/360 against pro ranges.

cm/360 = your physical mouse distance for a full 360° turn. Lower cm/360 = faster, twitchier aim. Higher = slower, more precise.

Pro Reference Ranges

Where most professionals sit (Valorant / CS2 scale):

Low sens (precise)
200 – 300 eDPI
Medium (balanced)
300 – 450 eDPI
High sens (twitchy)
450 – 600 eDPI
Typical cm/360
35 – 100 cm

There's no "perfect" eDPI — it's personal. But if you're far outside these ranges, experimenting closer to them is worth a try. Learn more in our What is eDPI? guide and the low vs high sensitivity breakdown.

FAQ

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It represents your true aim speed regardless of which DPI and sensitivity combination you use.

What is a good eDPI for Valorant?

Most Valorant pros play between 200 and 600 eDPI, roughly 35–100 cm/360. The most common range is around 250–400 eDPI.

Is eDPI or sensitivity more important?

They describe the same thing together — eDPI combines both into one number. What matters is your cm/360 (physical mouse distance per 360° turn), which eDPI determines. Use the calculator above to see yours.
